Chelsea are ready to up their offer for Wigan’s Victor Moses, The Daily Mail state.

The talented Latics forward was a key reason behind the DW Stadium club escaping relegation again last term, with the sprightly attacker putting in excellent performances in the campaign run-in.

As such, a number of bigger Premier League teams have been registered with an interest, as Moses has also admitted that he is ready to move to a side challenging for honours.

The Stamford Bridge club have already had an offer of £4 million rejected by Wigan chairman Dave Whelan, with the player reportedly valued at around £10 million by the club.

The Nigeria international’s contract expires next summer, and as such Roberto Martinez has a decision to make whether to sell him now or risk losing him for free this time next year.
